Positions Available


 

Administrative Assistant

For applicants who are quick learners and have great organizational and communication skills. Those who prove they catch on quickly will see more opportunities come their way very soon.

Duties include

  • Organizing schedule
  • Welcoming members and working the front desk
  • Helping members check-in and make purchases
  • Explaining membership options to members
  • Opportunity to move into sales, once trained

Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support for the corporate office and staff and overseeing all general office and administrative duties. This includes office organization and cleanliness, inventory management, data entry, filing, mailings, program/event registrations and related duties, and customer service. This position requires the incumbent to work both independently and effectively with customers and other staff to achieve and maintain the excellent standards set forth by the company.

Job Components

  • Oversee office administration, organization and cleanliness
  • Retrieve and distribute mail on a daily basis
  • Inventory supplies on a regular basis and place orders when necessary
  • Oversee office machines to make sure they are in working order (add paper to printers/faxes, empty shredder, etc)
  • Send client birthday and anniversary cards on a weekly basis
  • Administer program registration procedures
  • Assist with marketing efforts and mass mailings
  • Assist with special projects when available

Job Requirements

  • General office experience
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality customer service and support
  • Proficiency with standard word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, complete detail-oriented tasks, and work independently

Strength Apprentice

Requesting applicants that are passionate about health and fitness.

Our ideal apprentice is interested in strength coaching or fitness training, but has little to no experience as a trainer.

Must have a NCCA-accredited personal training certification or have plans to obtain a certification soon.

No experience required, just a great attitude and a passion for health and fitness. Position is paid.

Apprenticeship includes:

  • How to become an effective coach and positively change the lives of those you train
  • Understanding proper body mechanics and weight lifting form
  • Learning how to assess movement patterns

 

Strength Coach

Requesting applicants who have worked as strength coaches for at least 6 months. We are looking for coaches that are interested in expanding their knowledge base to learn science-based types of training.

Duties include

  • Training members privately and semi-privately
  • Understanding programs, explaining programs to members, following programs as written
  • Understanding and anticipating members' needs and projecting a helpful attitude
  • Assessing members regularly and communicating with members about their nutrition and lifestyle habits

 

Yoga Apprentice

Requesting applicants that demonstrate their passion for yoga asana, pranayama (breath work), and spiritual elements.

Our ideal apprentice is looking to improve his or her yoga technical skills, strengthen his/her ability to confidently lead a yoga class, and wishes to learn how to build sequences that challenge his/her students.

After a paid apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to begin teaching regular classes. The length of the apprenticeship will be determined by your availability and is generally between one and three months.

Must be 200-hour RYT or currently in 200-hour RYT program, or working as an Uplift strength apprentice, with intention to get 200-hour RYT.

Apprenticeship includes

  • Shadowing classes, providing hands-on assists in classes, and demonstrating poses in classes
  • Required reading and homework assignments
  • Practical guidance to improve alignment, teaching skills, and confidence

 

Yoga Instructor

Requesting applicants that are confident in leading and sequencing vinyasa flow yoga classes.

Applicants must have at least 6 months experience teaching yoga and have availability to teach in the morning and evenings.
